Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how users and authorized business representatives
can request deletion of information associated with SP WAB Connect,
including information received through Meta and the WhatsApp Business
Platform.

SP WAB Connect respects user privacy and provides reasonable methods
for requesting deletion of eligible personal information and connected
account data.

3. Information That May Be Deleted

Depending on your account configuration and use of SP WAB Connect,
eligible deletion requests may include:

• SP WAB account information.
• User profile and contact information.
• Connected Meta Business Portfolio identifiers.
• WhatsApp Business Account identifiers.
• WhatsApp Phone Number IDs.
• Stored account connection details.
• Message records and conversation metadata.
• Contact records uploaded or created through the platform.
• Message template synchronization data.
• Technical and diagnostic logs associated with your account.
• Webhook event records associated with your connection.

Some information may be stored directly within a customer-controlled
WordPress website or hosting environment. In those cases, the customer
or website administrator may need to delete that information directly
from the relevant WordPress installation or database.

4. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of information associated with SP WAB Connect,
send an email to:

• Your full name.
• Your business or organization name.
• The email address associated with your account.
• The website where SP WAB Connect is installed, if applicable.
• Your Meta Business Portfolio name or identifier, if available.
• Your WhatsApp Business Account identifier, if available.
• A clear description of the information you want deleted.
• Any additional information reasonably required to verify your authority.

Do not send access tokens, application secrets, passwords, verification
codes, or other sensitive credentials by email.

5. Identity and Authority Verification

To protect users and business accounts, we may request reasonable
information to confirm:

• Your identity.
• Your ownership of the relevant account.
• Your authority to act for the relevant business.
• The scope of the requested deletion.

We may be unable to process a request if we cannot reasonably verify
the requester or identify the relevant information.

6. Disconnecting Meta and WhatsApp Accounts

You may also disconnect SP WAB Connect from your Meta and WhatsApp
Business assets using available connection controls within the
WordPress plugin or platform dashboard.

Disconnecting an account may:

• Remove locally stored connection credentials.
• Stop future API requests from the disconnected installation.
• Stop future message and webhook processing by that installation.
• Remove locally stored WABA and Phone Number identifiers.

Disconnecting SP WAB Connect does not automatically delete information
stored independently by Meta, WhatsApp, your hosting provider, or other
third-party services.

7. Removing SP WAB Connect from Meta

Users may also remove the SP WAB Connect business integration from
their Meta account settings, where available.

Removing the integration may revoke future access granted to the
application. It may not automatically delete historical information
that must be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes.

8. Data Stored in WordPress

When SP WAB Connect is installed on a customer-controlled WordPress
website, certain information may be stored within that website’s
database, including:

• Plugin settings.
• Encrypted or protected credentials.
• WhatsApp Business Account identifiers.
• Phone Number IDs.
• Synchronized templates.
• Message and diagnostic records.
• Webhook event records.

The WordPress website owner is responsible for deleting information
stored in their own website, database, backups, and hosting environment.

Deactivating or uninstalling the plugin may not automatically remove
all stored information unless a specific deletion option is provided
and selected.

9. Data Controlled by SP WAB Customers

Businesses using SP WAB Connect may independently control customer
contact information, message records, and conversation data.

If your information was collected or processed by a business using
SP WAB Connect, you should first contact that business directly. The
business is responsible for responding to requests concerning data it
controls.

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may assist business
customers in responding to verified deletion requests.

10. Information We May Retain

We may retain limited information where necessary to:

• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
• Maintain financial and transaction records.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
• Resolve disputes.
• Document prior deletion requests.
• Maintain system integrity and backup cycles.

Retained information will be limited to what is reasonably necessary
for the applicable purpose and retained only for the required period.

11. Backups

Deleted information may remain temporarily within encrypted or
restricted backup systems until those backups are overwritten or
expire according to the applicable backup retention schedule.

Information retained only in backups will not be restored for ordinary
business use unless required for disaster recovery, security, or legal
purposes.

12. Processing Time

We aim to acknowledge valid deletion requests within a reasonable
period.

The time required to complete a request may depend on:

• The scope and complexity of the request.
• The time required to verify identity or authority.
• The location of the relevant information.
• Applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
• Whether information is controlled by a customer or third party.

Where required by applicable law, requests will be processed within the
legally prescribed period.

13. Confirmation of Deletion

After a verified request has been completed, we may provide
confirmation that eligible information has been deleted, anonymized,
disconnected, or restricted.

Confirmation will not include sensitive system details, credentials,
security methods, or information relating to other users.

14. Meta and Third-Party Data

SP WAB Connect cannot directly delete information controlled
independently by Meta, WhatsApp, WordPress hosting providers, or other
third parties.

Users may need to submit separate requests directly to those service
providers according to their own privacy policies and deletion
procedures.
